One of the big differences between eating dried shrooms and making a shroom tea comes down to how it is broken down in our stomachs. Shroom tea is much easier on the stomach than chewing and swallowing magic mushrooms. This is due to the fact that in making tea you are essentially cooking your raw mushrooms and making them into a psilocybin extract. Part of the reason mushrooms make us nauseas is all the hard to digest, raw mushroom material we’re consuming, such as chitin (which makes up fungi’s cell walls). But by letting these components it in hot water for several minutes, the chitin and other materials of the mushroom begin to break down while the psilocybin is extracted into the water, making a tea that’s both psychedelic and easier on the stomach.

Each package is intended to be one serving
Steep the tea in hot water for 2-4 minutes before ingesting
Use hot – NOT boiling water (as boiling water will compromise the potency of the Psilocybin)
